Just wanted to say thank you to the team at JCR for making a seamless transition for all four of my St Marys Seafood & More restaurants from Aloha to Heartland Restaurant. Special thank you to Tim, Ryan, Ryan and Devin, you guys did an amazing job. Heartland Restaurant has allowed me to take my restaurants to another level! it gave me the opportunity to offer loyalty points to my customers along with online ordering. My favorite feature is that Heartland Restaurant makes it possible for me access the system from anywhere in the world! I no longer have to be in front of the Aloha file server to access it! My only regret is that I didn’t switch to Heartland Restaurant sooner.

Smoothie Squad uses JCR Systems POS. We love our new Heartland Restaurant Cloud based management system because the staff are always very helpful with any questions that any of our staff has at anytime. Tim was there during the setup and continues to assist me whenever I have any questions. It is awesome that there is an online ordering site available, as well as the loyalty program which our customers love.

Works when the Internet is Down
Running your establishment with cloud technology is easy and less expensive while ensuring your business data is continuously synced to the cloud. You can manage your system from virtually anywhere, on any device.
In the event the internet is down, Heartland Restaurant continues to operate and uses the Local Area Network (LAN) to sync tickets to all devices. It doesn't suddenly shrink down to a glorified calculater like other cloud systems, which could lower staff moral when the guest experience is negatively impacted.
Staff can access their tickets from any pos station, can take orders, send orders to the kitchen, process credit cards offline, take cash payments, and print customer receipts. Once the internet is back up, all transactional data is automatically updated and synced to the cloud.
Easy Configuration on the Fly
Choose from a variety of settings to fit your needs. Select one or two rows for viewing, change the font size, recall deleted orders, and more.
Automatic Order Routing
With Heartland Restaurant's Kitchen Display System (KDS), orders are automatically sent to stations in the kitchen from staff, Kiosk, Guest app, Online Ordering Website, and 3rd Party Delivery Services, eliminating paper trails and wait times and minimizing restaurant confusion.
All Day Item Count
The 'All Day' count is perfect for high volume operators that need to know how many of each item have been sent to the kitchen accross all tickets.
The All Day summary screen can be instantly turned on and off as needed with only one touch.
Visible Ticket Times & Colors
Color-formatted time alerts can be set to automatically show a first warning indicator on Yellow and a second warning indicator in Red.
Visual Order Indicators
All orders are clear and concise, with special indicators to display Rush Orders, Promised Times for Future Orders, Seat Numbers, Voided Orders, including order destinations such as Dining Room, Patio, Walk-In To-Go, Call-Ahead To-Go, Delivery, and Online Orders.
Real-Time Order Display
The KDS app can be configured to send items to the Kitchen Displays in real-time as the staff are ringing up the items or after each order has been completed.
Future Orders
The Heartland KDS app allows each station to set how far in advance to display orders for future days so your kitchen staff sees them only when needed.
Recall Previous Bumped Orders
It's quick and easy to swipe to look at all of the previous orders that have been bumped to help audit orders being made correctly. With one touch an order can be recalled back to the current orders as needed.
Order Ready Notifications
Messaging can be enabled to notify staff and guests orders are ready as they are bumped from the KDS.
Order Ready notifications can appear in the POS app to notify staff to take orders to waiting guests while the food is hot.
Optional SMS messaging can send Order Ready text messages to waiting guests informing their take out order is ready.
Automatic Printing to Expo Printer
Should you not want Kitchen Displays, Heartland Restaurant supports as many kitchen printers as you need, but if you will be using Kitchen Displays, you may only need one kitchen printer at the Expo station.
As orders are bumped from the Expo station, the Expo printer can automatically print the order ticket to help food runners bringing orders to the table.
Seat numbers can be printed on the expo ticket to help avoid auctioning food off at the table so your staff can know where to place each dinner plate at the table.
