MobileBytes built-in Waitlist allows Host staff to digitally manage table seating for waiting guests, text guests when their table is ready, and quickly assign guests directly to a table.

Built into the MobileBytes POS App

MobileBytes Waitlist is coded in the POS App, so there's no need to purchase and integrate additional software modules, which helps streamline operations and staff training.


You can allow your host staff to ring up take-out orders on the same devices used for the Waitlist, reducing the number of devices needed at the Host stand.

Capture Guest Information

As first time guest are greeted and added to the Waitlist, MobileBytes creates customer profiles, stores your Guest's phone number,  and tracks their order history.


Host staff can also add any special requests notes to each waiting party.

Quickly Greet Loyal Customers with iPad Proximity Technology

Using Apple's Proximity technology, when guests with the MobileBytes Guest App visit your restaurant to dine again, host staff can quickly select from a list of 'Guests in Range' to add to the Waitlist.


With this method, the host staff quickly identify customers without asking for and hand keying a phone number every time they visit.


The host staff can now enhance the guest experience by greeting your best customers by name and with quick access to order history as needed.

Promote the Guest Engagement App

As soon as your guests are greeted and added to the Waitlist, you can enable automatic text messaging to the guest suggesting them to download the MobileBytes Guest Engagement App as they wait for their table.


If you have Loyalty enabled, this can encourage new guests to become repeat customers and start earning loyalty rewards.  Your loyalty customers use the Guest App to track their Order History and Loyalty Rewards.


If you have 'Scan to Pay' enabled, this will allow your guests to pay their tab when they are ready which further enhances the guest experience and helps to turn more tables.

Increase Speed of Service

Managing your waitlist while your restaurant is busy has never been easier! 


With an intuitive color interface, the host staff knows the status of every table and how long each party has been waiting.


As soon as a table becomes available, host staff can quickly indentify which party size to text from the waitlist.  This helps gain the best seating utilization while reducing empty table idle time so your guests get seated faster.


As speed of service is increased, so are table turns, customer satisfaction, and your profits.

Send 'Table Ready' Texts to Guests

There’s no need for those bulky, costly, limited-range buzzers.  Allow your guests to roam where they need to go, knowing they will be notified when their table is ready.


The Host staff can select to send a text to a waiting guest when their table is ready or when the Host assigns a waiting party to a table the Waitlist app will prompt the Host to select if a text needs to be sent to the guest or not.

Order History at your Fingertips

Many of your customers are loyal customers that dine in routinely or call in to place repeat orders for their favorite items.


MobileBytes automatically saves your customer's orders when a phone number is attached, and at the touch of a button can display their order history.


This allows your staff to enhance the guest experience by greeting them as a repeat customer and asking if they would like to repeat any of their previous orders or favorite items.


With one touch orders are quickly repeated, including those special request and modifications, so they get it right every time.

Increase Table Turns with Scan to Pay

As previously noted, when guests are put on the Waitlist, they can automatically receive a text with a link to download the MobileBytes Guest Engagement App.


If you have 'Scan to Pay' enabled, your guests can use the Guest App to pay their tab when they are ready. As soon as guests pay their tab from their phone, the ticket status and color indicator is immediately updated in the MobileBytes POS App so staff is immediately aware the ticket has been paid.


This further enhances the guest experience and helps to turn more tables.
