Designing an internet-based enterprise management system with every conceivable feature would have been quite an accomplishment.  Developing a virtual enterprise system with the latest technological innovations would have been no less challenging.  But creating the one solution with the optimum balance of both was the ultimate achievement.

Aloha Enterprise.com forms the foundation for a complete enterprise management system that can be expanded and configured to meet your long term objectives of increased productivity and maximum profitability.

 

Features

  • E-MAIL
    The system will include an email module, which runs directly from the web browser. This will allow store users to email each other, or anyone with an Internet email address. We will support personal address books, global address lists, mailing lists, file attachments and multiple recipients. The system will automatically notify the user if they have email waiting when they login to the system. The system will integrate easily into other email systems if the company already uses an email product like Microsoft Exchange.

  • MANAGEMENT ALERTS
    Alerts are designed to provide proactive information to management in the event certain parameters are met in the system. An example of an alert would be "Employees Approaching Overtime". Users can login to the system and configure the system to automatically alert them when employees get to a set number of hours. The user will be notified via email or standard "pop-up" notifications. The alerts will be constantly changing as customers give Ibertech the criteria they would like for different alerts. Some of the alerts that will be in Enterprise 1.0 will be:
    • Employee Overtime
    • Employees approaching overtime
    • Labor percents above or below threshold
    • Over/Shorts
    • Sales above or below thresholds

  • CONTACTS
    All contacts are readily available and only need to be entered in once for all authorized personnel to have access to.

  • MANAGER LOG
    Keeps logs of site visits for each location.

  • POLLING
    The system will perform consolidation and polling at scheduled intervals defined by the client. The process will "push" data from the P.O.S. and back-office applications to the central data warehouse at regularly scheduled intervals. An example may be scheduling the system to push its data every 15 minutes or after the end of day at 3:00am. This data will be loaded into the central data center via the Internet so there are no long distance charges.

    The polling system will automatically pickup missed days and will notify management of any missing information. Missing information will automatically be requested by the system on the next poll.

  • DATA WAREHOUSING
    Ibertech has invested hundreds of thousands of dollars in equipment so you don't have to!  Ibertech will provide data warehousing service for a customers definable amount of time. This means Ibertech will maintain the data for a period of years, with the option to offload this data to archival media (such as CD) at periodic internals. This service also means Ibertech provides the reliability, redundancy, backup and daily maintenance as one of its services to the customer.

  • GENERAL LEDGER INTEGRATION
    The system will ship with the ability to integrate POS data into the GL system for the client. Ibertech will provide integration to most GL systems that have import/export capabilities. This will allow journal entries to be created automatically at regularly scheduled intervals defined by the client. Ibertech will evaluate requests for GL integration on a case by case basis. Most popular GL packages will be supported (Great Plains, ACCPAC, MAS90, Peachtree, Platinum).

  • CENTRALIZED REPORTING
    Centralized reporting will allow web reports using industry standard Crystal Reports. Companies will be given many canned reports ranging from daily sales and labor to labor scheduling reports. Ibertech will add reports through requests from customers, and will (at some point) allow customers to add their own reports to the system. All reports can be run across any range of dates, stores, regions or geographical areas. Reports can also be exported to Excel or Word formats and can be sent to other users via email. The same report can be run for summary or detail, and by store summary and by store detail.

  • DRILLDOWN VIEWER.
    This application is designed to allow management to drill from summary to detail on any number of indexes. The drilldown viewer will have multiple levels and is designed to allow management to find the information they need without sifting through several reports.

  • VIEW CURRENT DAY POLLING
    View current day polling will allow management to receive current day sales and labor information at regularly scheduled intervals. The drilldown viewer will be used to present this information in the same format as historical information. An example would be setting the stores to "push" their information to the office every 15 minutes. The corporate staff will have access to a "stock ticker" type of application to monitor their stores in real-time.
    View current day polling requires Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 SP1 or higher to view properly.

  • PROJECTED SALES
    Store managers will have the ability to enter projected sales on the system for use in forecasting. These sales will be automatically calculated for the store by using a weighted moving average (defined by the client). This will automatically look at the last (4) weeks of sales and the same week the previous year. Management will have the ability to modify these sales at any time.

  • SENDING CHANGES TO THE POS
    The system will allow users in stores, or anywhere with web access, to make changes to menus, promos, etc. which will be "pushed" to the stores automatically on the predetermined effective date via the polling process. An example of this would be sending a price update to 100 stores automatically done from a hotel room.

    The remote changes that will be allowed in Enterprise 1 will be:

    • Price Updates
    • Item Naming
    • Price Levels
    • Modifier groups
    • Submenus
    • Tax Setup
    • Item SKU Number
    • Printer and Video routings

  • PHYSICAL INVENTORY
    Companies can utilize the system to take physical inventories at each of their stores. This is physical inventory only, if the client has requested food costing or integration with purchasing they should buy the aloha inventory module.

  • HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT
    The integrated HR module will allow stores to enter new hires, rate changes, terminations, borrowed employees and other employee paperwork online. This will reduce paperwork, provide an electronic approvals process and enforce business logic within the process. An example would be not allowing a unit to hire an employee if they had been terminated from a previous store with the option of "no rehire". New hires will be automatically delivered to the POS back-office system and will update the FOH as well (Aloha POS version 4.2 or greater required).

  • ONLINE APPROVALS
    Are your manager's giving pay raises or hiring new personnel without proper approval?  Now, when management keys in the requests, key personnel can simply review and approve these types of decisions.

  • WEB WIZARDS
    Do you want to control menu changes and keep database consistency for multiple stores?  Web wizards such as these and others guide you through making changes and establishing their effect date in advance.

  • PERSONALIZED SECURITY
    The system has very granular security levels. Users are tracked as they use the system and management can get concise reports to see what has been modified or changed. All options and drop down lists are configurable by user or group. An example would be the report list might only show (3) reports for certain types of employees, while showing 50 reports for others.

  • INTRANET HOSTING
    Ibertech provides hosting services for the company Intranet, which can be run as an integrated part of the application. This allows the company to use one single system for all communication with the stores.
